MATCH OFF: Luton’s FA Trophy trip to Kidderminster hit by weather

LUTON Town’s trip to Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Trophy today has been called off due to a frozen pitch.

A statement on the Harriers official website said: “The pitch was inspected at around 9.15am this morning and whilst the frost in the ground was not the deepest, forecasts throughout the day give it little chance of lifting.

“With snow also on its way - particularly further south - the safety of supporters was also taken into consideration in the official’s decision to postpone the game.”

The match will now take place on Tuesday night at 7.45pm, meaning Luton’s proposed Blue Square Bet Premier trip to Barrow will be rearranged.
