Lumby still undecided about next season

Blues' back-rower admits he is unsure what the future holds for him

Number eight James Lumby says he is starting to feel right at home at Goldington Road, but admits he is unsure about where he will be playing his rugby next season.

The back-rower was drafted in from Cambridge University to provide cover after a spate of injuries earlier in the season, but after being handed his chance he has not looked out of place in the Blues' line-up and his performances have started to make him a firm favourite with supporters.

He said: "The agreement was that I joined for the remainder of the season. My main focus lies with my studies at the moment as I'm studying Real Estate Finance at Cambridge so obviously a lot of time and energy is tied up with that.

"In terms of next season, I suppose It'll be a case of looking at options work wise before deciding if and where I'll play my rugby."
