Blues: Bedford Blues are preparing for the fifth annual Ladies Day ay Goldington Road on Saturday, October 20, when Stirling come to town in the British & Irish Cup.
Director of rugby Mike Rayer said: “Ladies Day is always great fun and has become a firm favourite for the supporters. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for us to have a bit of fun with our fans.”
“So many of our fans will know or have known someone who has been affected by Cancer and it is important that we show our backing to the fantastic work that is carried out by Cancer Research UK.”
The day helps to raise funds for breast cancer charities and this year the club will be donating to Cancer Research UK, via their Bedford High Street shop. The day will include two-for-one entry for all ladies, a free glass of rose wine, nibbles in the marquee for the girls and prizes for the best dressed, presented by the players post-match, while special auction items will also be available.
Gates open at noon with the game kicking off at 3pm.
