Bedford Blues are turning pink this weekend for their fifth annual ladies day supporting breast cancer charities.

The club will be raising funds at Saturday’s rugby cup match at Goldington Road and donating to Cancer Research UK via their Bedford High Street shop.

It will be two-for-one entry for all ladies, and there is a free glass of wine and nibbles in the marquee for the girls.

Ladies at the match can enjoy pampering from staff from 5th Avenue Hair and Beauty Spa for a £5 donation.

Director of rugby Mike Rayer said: “Ladies Day is always great fun and has become a firm favourite for the supporters. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for us to have a bit of fun with our fans.

“It is important we show our backing to the fantastic work that is carried out by Cancer Research UK.”
