Both Alex and Dee have busy outside of work, spending many hours on the water training throughout the winter in preparation for this season, travelling all over the country for the best training conditions.

Recently, as part of their preparations, they headed to Cardiff for the Welsh Open Freestyle competition.

The venue proved to be a challenging one with the shallow water making it difficult to execute some moves. Despite this the final scores saw Alex take first and Dee second, providing a great boost so close to the European contest.

The competition runs from Thursday to Saturday.
