Cycling round up
Tim Davies continued his excellent start to the season as he came third at the Lea Valley Cycling Club open 25-mile time-trial on Sunday.
The Icknield Road Club member clocked a time of 58.16mins, 2.05mins behind the winner.
Rebecca Romero, Olympic individual pursuit gold medallist, was also competing and came in sixth with a time of 59.37mins.
Team Sanjan Design
Stuart Tarry finished fastest at the North Bucks Road Club 10-mile time-trial at Astwood on Saturday with a time of 23.54mins.
Team Sanjan Design club-mate Alan Crane came home fourth in 27.02mins.
On Sunday, Andy Bright was the only Team Sanjan rider in action at the Lea Valley CC 25-mile time-trial in Essex.
Bright rode well on a tough course in difficult conditions to finish in a time of 1.08.03hrs.
