One point from a possible six for Ampthill
Codicote started sharply at the weekend and made a great start when Sam James smashed an 18-yard shot past Jack Ambler inside the first five minutes.
Town took time to adjust without defenders Ben Butler and Ross Airson, but after Codicote failed to make the most of their earlier possession, the scores were levelled through Frazer Maidment on the half hour.

Danny Butler was out of luck with an effort which hit the foot of the post, while Draycott crashed a drive against the bar.
Ampthill also found a keeper on top form and Josh Mason pulled off superb stops from Brad Clarke, Dean Dummett and Danny Butler.
Codicote’s fans saw their early promise fade but Town had to settle for a point on the day when opportunities for a win went astray.

Brimsdown went ahead in the 25th minute, before Dan Butler found the woodwork from 30 yards.
Town fell further behind on the hour with a header from a corner and they were caught on the break as Brimsdown scored a third.
But Town scored a consolation goal 10 minutes from time when Charlie Cullen finished off after Clarke and Maidment combined down the right.
Ampthill are at home to third placed Chesham Reserves on Saturday. They then visit Woodford next Thursday and Winslow the following Saturday.
