Soccer PM Monday League

Wootton Chequers are now level on points in second spot of the Soccer PM Monday League Premier Division after beating Sunnie Reds 3-0 at AFC Kempston.

Reds are on 12 points too, but goals from Dean Reid (2) and Tom Dunne gave Wootton victory.

Pulse and Thunder remain top after an emphatic 9-1 triumph over BB Boys.

Aaron Hewitt notched four, ably assisted by a Mikey Stephenson treble and a Martin Ivy strike plus an own goal.

Richard Andrews notched another brace for Predators as they defeated Wadey’s Chocolate Fingers 2-1, Max Woolston replying.

Premier new boys Applegreen forced Stewartby all the way but lost 5-3, Jonathan Henry (2) and Willis Ogogo getting their goals.

Hillgrounds Astros still lead Division One on goal difference from Super Sixes White Sharks as both won again.

Astros beat Kartell UK 5-1 with goals from Richard Smith (2), Mark Fensome (2) and Graeme Otterwell, while Super Sixes edged a tight affair 2-1 against FC Palgrave. Martin McGilvray gave Palgrave the lead, but Bryan Davis and Adam Borton hit back.

Five Slims demolished AFC Wimbledong 4-0, while Shakhtar Senseless recorded their second win of the campaign by beating the experienced Three Horseshoes 4-2.

Dale Goldie, Matt Jarman, Gareth Loadman and Karl Bunyan all slotted home for the Senseless six with Tony McGovern and Richard McAuley replying for Shoes.
