Eagles’ final league game rearranged

editorial image

Bedford Town’s final league game of the season has been rearranged for Tuesday, May 1.

Torrential overnight rain and throughout Saturday morning on the south coast was too much for the AFC Totton pitch and, after an extensive pitch inspection, Bedford Town’s scheduled game there on Saturday was called off due to a waterlogged drought.

The game is being rearranged promptly because it is the last game of the regular season and the hosts are still in with a chance of claiming a play-off place.
