AFC Kempston Rovers begin their ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division campaign at home to Boston Town this weekend.
It will be a revamped squad that goes into the match as the Walnut Boys have announced a number of new signings recently.
Defender Kris Stephens has joined the club after being at Leighton Town last year, while Tom Guiney, Seb Simpson, Alex Stoyles, Scott Joseph, Sam Johnson, Carl Knox, Taylor Orosz and Jamie O’Gray are all on board.
Kempston also secured the additions of midfielder Dom Marsala, who has previously played for Chesham where he helped the club win promotion to the Southern Premier Division.
Meanwhile, box to box midfielder Shane Bush has also joined, along with defender Grant Fryer.
Goalkeeper Martin Conway also agreed to re-join the club for season 2014-15.
The stopper has higher league experience with Hinckley Town and last season was a member of the successful Ampthill Town side.
After this weekend’s opening clash, Rovers are then away to Northampton Sileby Rangers on Tuesday night.
They then visit Northampton Spencer in the FA Cup extra preliminary round the following weekend.
Desborough Town and Deepings Rangers will then visit Hillgrounds Road before the month is out
Meanwhile, the club’s U14s side will be participating in a 11 v 11 tournament, organised by Flitwick Eagles and held at Redborne Upper School in Ampthill, on Saturday, August 30.
