Nervais appointed Bedford FC boss

Mark Nervais has been confirmed as the new manager of Bedford FC.

Nervais arrives after an extremely successful season last year with his United Counties League development squad.

He bring a backroom team of UEFA coaches Mark Di Carlo and James Petty alongside goalkeeping coach Simon Wedd and analytics man Michael Malone.

Bedford are competing in SSML Division One following relegation last time around.

Nervais said: “The club now have the right infrastructure in place, both on and off the pitch, to be successful and we all share the same long term aims and ambitions for the football club.

“We have a good nucleus of existing talent and are bringing with us some exciting youngsters that alongside our new development pathway mean things are looking very positive at the club.”

He welcomes any committed and hungry players capable of competing in the SSML to join them at McMullen Park for pre-season training.
