Knight rides to the rescue as Eagles defeat Posh

Bedford Town secured a morale-boosting 1-0 victory at home to a Peterborough United XI on Monday night.

Posh fielded five players with first team experience for the friendly but the Eagles were able to record a clean sheet as Luke Knight grabbed the only goal of the game from a free kick.

It goes some way towards erasing the painful 9-0 defeat inflicted on the Eagles by a strong Luton Town side on Saturday.
