ALMOST 30,000 Luton fans made the trip to Wembley last weekend to see Hatters in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final against York City.

Unfortunately it was to prove a heartbreaking journey, with Luton consigned to another season in the Conference after a 2-1 defeat.

Luton News photographers Jane Russell and Joanna Cross were on hand to capture some of the best action though as Town turned the home of English football orange for the day.
