AFC Telford have confirmed that tonight’s Blue Square Bet Premier game against Luton Town is definitely on.

With the country being hit by snow and freezing conditions, there were doubts as to whether the match would go ahead, but a statement on the Bucks official website said: “AFC Telford United ground staff have this morning confirmed that the pitch has held up well under the frost covers meaning that tonight’s game against Luton Town is on.

“The pitch has been covered since Friday and helped protect the pitch last night as temperatures dropped to -2.

“This was on top of a combination of snow, sleet and a considerable amount of rain that fell yesterday.

“We would urge everyone to come and support the club this evening in this very important fixture.”
