Ampthill Town FC had no game at the weekend but they continue their fixtures with two home games in four days this week.

Town have taken four points from their last two SSML Premier Division games, with a win against bottom side Hillingdon and a hard fought draw against high-flying Wembley.

But Derwayne Stupple’s side will need to find the top of their form in the next two games if they are to take anything against clubs who inflicted heavy defeats on them earlier in the season.

On Saturday Ampthill host Hertford who put seven past them in November.

On Tuesday night Oxhey Jets are the visitors to Woburn Road after beating Ampthill 5-0 in August.

Town end March with a visit to London Colney on Saturday week, but will need points from the next two games whatever the challenge from the Hertfordshire side brings.

Ampthill currently occupy 20th position in the SSML Premier Division table, with only Holmer Green and Hillingdon Borough below them in the standings.

Town are a point above Holmer but have played four games more.
