Eversholt maintained their impressive form in Herts League Division Three with a crushing eight-wicket victory over Potters Bar II on Saturday.
Batting first, Potters Bar could only manage to post a total of 166 from their allotted overs as Simon Avis once again took control with the ball.
The Eversholt danger-man finished with figures of 4-46, while Lewis Perrin took 2-11 and Zardad Khan and Jack Fuller bagged a wicket apiece.
In reply, on-form opener Perrin got Eversholt off to a flying start as he hit 54, before Ryan Harding (60 n/o) and Jake Nichols (42 n/o) got the job done in emphatic style.
The victory leaves Eversholt flying high in third place in the table, and promotion to Division Two is still firmly in their sights with six games of the season remaining.
This weekend, they travel to Hertford II, who are currently struggling in the bottom half of the table.
Eversholt will fancy their chances of picking up another win and keeping up the pressure on the top-two in the division.
It was an even more impressive display from the Eversholt bowlers on Sunday as they skittled Eggington Foresters for just 60 runs to set up an eight-wicket triumph in Beds League Division One.
Bowling first, Eversholt were at their imperious best and managed to restrict all but one of the Eggington bowlers to single-figure scores.
Avis was again supreme with the ball, bagging six wickets for just 17 runs, while Ricky Holmes (2-29) and Perrin (2-6) snared two wickets apiece.
In reply, Eversholt cantered to victory for the loss of just two wickets – replicating the performance of their Saturday side.
Perrin notched 13 runs, before James Garratt took to the fore with an unbeaten knock of 26.
Josh Macmillan fell LBW for five runs, while Robert Davies (2) joined Garratt at the crease to see off the remaining runs to secure the emphatic victory.
