EAGLES: Home defeat for Bedford

Bedford Town are still searching for their first win after losing at home to Chesham on Monday.

The Eagles lost this Zamaretto Premier Division clash against one of the early pacesetters 2-1 in front of 369 spectators at the Eyrie.

All the goals came in the first half. Grace put the visitors ahead before Talbot doubled that lead from the penalty spot.

Clark pulled one back for the Eagles but the match ended 2-1.

It sees Bedford third from bottom with just three points from their first six games. Chesham moved up to second.

Next up for the Eagles are Evesham away on Sunday, September 5.
