EAGLES: Two new signings for Bedford Town
Luton Town teenager and an ex-defender join the squad
Eagles have moved to boost squad numbers by adding two new players this week.
Taylor Nathaniel, 18, who can play in either defence or midfield, has joined on work experience terms from near neighbours Luton Town and will be available for tomorrow's home league match against Oxford City (3pm).
Bedford have also re-signed former defender James Taylor.
Taylor, who featured during Eagles' promotion winning campaign to the Conference South back in 2005/06, can operate at right-back or centre-half and was on the bench during last night's 1-0 league defeat by Stourbridge at the Eyrie.
In front of 156 supporters, Bedford's lowest home crowd of the season, Stourbridge stole the points thanks to a James Cooper goal on 82 minutes.
It was a third straight league reverse without scoring for Lee Howarth's side, who remain just one place and one point above the bottom four going into tomorrow's clash with Oxford.
That match is followed by tough trip to leaders Farnborough on Wednesday night, kick-off 7.45pm.
There is also a fans forum in the clubhouse this coming Monday night, when chairman David Howell will be on hand to answer questions from 7.30pm.
Meanwhile the rearranged home league fixture against Cambridge City, scheduled for Tuesday April 13, has been moved back 24 hours to Wednesday, April 14 due to a league request.
