EAGLES: Swindon Sup 1 Bedford 0

Bedford Town fell to a one goal defeat at Swindon Supermarine on Saturday.

The Eagles lost to the only goal of this Zamaretto Premier game, which came via a penalty from Stanley in the 34th minute of the first half.

It meant a pointless visit for manager Ady Williams on his return to his former club.

Bedford Town are still waiting for their first league victory of the season with three draws from their first five games. They sit fifth bottom in the table.

They will be hoping to chalk up that opening win on Bank Holiday Monday when fourth placed Chesham United are the visitors to the Eryie, kick off 3pm.
