Dunstable beaten by St Neots blitz
Blues downed in second half
A second-half blitz from United Counties League side St Neots condemned Dunstable Town to a 4-1 friendly defeat in Huntingdonshire on Tuesday night.
Despite the emphatic scoreline this was a decent performance by Grant Carney's team, especially in a goalless first half.
Striker Darrell Elliott had come very close to breaking the deadlock with a fine shot that was only just parried.
Multiple substitutions altered the team's balance and left them too lightweight in midfield in the second half.
Their hosts took full advantage, netting four times after the break, with Blues' consolation goal coming from Nathan Miller.
Meanwhile, Dunstable are searching for a new physiotherapist.
