HERITAGE CUP: Having been been called off due to heavy rain last week, Flitwick hope to meet Eaton Socon at The Hollow, Potton, tomorrow (Friday) in the rearranged final of this season’s Heritage Cup.

The Otters will start favourites in the East Beds Charity Shield competition but should heavy rain intervene once more, then the match could go ahead on Monday (July 16) with the next reserve date being 24 hours later.

EAST BEDS CHARITY SHIELD: The final of the East Beds Senior Shield between Ampthill Town and Blunham was scheduled for last night (Wednesday) at Caldecote but with the threat of more rain to come, the reserve date is now Wednesday, July 18.

BEDS COUNTY LEAGUE: Just three matches were started in the Bedfordshire County League on Sunday with the Development XI match between Aspley Guise and Offley & Stopsley being abandoned at tea with Aspley all out for 120 runs in 40 overs.

In Division Three, Luton Town & Indians IIIs (72-2) beat Pilgrims Oakley (71) by six wickets while in Division Five, Harrold IIs (150-8) beat Potton Town IIs (98) by 52 runs.
