CRICKET: Bedfordshire’s James Kettleborough will be attending a training camp in Cape Town, South Africa, next month with the Middlesex squad as part of the county’s pre-season training.

He is currently on a scholarship contract with Middlesex after leaving Bedford School last year and won the Middlesex Youth Player of 2011 award.

Kettleborough scored his maiden Minor County hundred for Bedfordshire against Cambridgeshire at Bedford Modern School last summer and topped the batting averages, scoring 475 Championship runs in just five matches.
