Britannia Cup holders through to last eight

Defending Britannia Cup champions Meltis Corinthians booked their place in the last eight of the competition with a 2-1 victory against Oakley Sports.
Mark Lagatta was on target for Oakley, but strikes from Ashley Banks and Anup Kalyan ensured that it would be Corinthians in the hat for the quarter-final draw.
Bedford Sports Athletic, who have been struggling in the league, got the better of Ickwell & Old Warden 3-1, Richard and Michael Ambler and Ashley Mead finding the target.
Paul Daniels, David McCarthy and Sam Maddox netted for Renhold United in their 3-1 victory against Sharnbrook. James Wigmore notched the losers' consolation, while Danny Pilgrim's hat-trick proved in vain as AFC Kempston Town went down 4-3 at Campton.
Wilshamstead made their exit from the competition as they went down 2-0 at Henlow.
Flitwick Town cruised into the last eight of the Centenary Cup with a 4-0 win against AFC Kempston Town Reserves with goals from Ben Wallington, Robbie Simpkins, Shaun Woodcraft and Adam Moss making up their tally.
Royal Oak Kempston progressed with a 5-2 defeat of Sandy Reserves, Lorenzo Jordan netting a double, and Marston Social downed Kempston Hammers Sports 2-0, Daniel Parks and an own goal responsible for their victory.
Westoning Recreation Club advanced to the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Ickwell & Old Warden Reserves, Ian Buckingham scoring the decisive goal.
Current Jubilee Cup holders Great Barford needed extra-time to overcome Marston Shelton Rovers 3-1, but progressed thanks to a brace from Gary Russon and a single strike from Mark Harlow.
Also needing extra-time – plus penalties – were Meppershall Jurassic who were deadlocked at 2-2 after 120 minutes in their tie with Potton Wanderers.
Meltis Corinthians Reserves won 3-2 at Blunham Reserves, Ben Flatters, Eric Patterson and Martisse Clarke their heroes to home replies from Chris Dunne and Julian Munns.
Kings AFC had an easier passage winning 5-0 at Blue Chip, Marcus Tomlin and Rowan Hazelwood both netting twice alongside Michael Whealan.
Saffron, meanwhile, with two goals from Azar Nawaz plus strikes from Shezed Satter and Jahangir Ahmed, won 4-1 at home against Lidlington United Sports whose reply came from Graham Scott.
Mulberry Bush are into the last eight after their 4-3 home win over Oakley Sports Reserves – Martin Ivy grabbing all four goals against a brace from Ben Brown and a single strike from Jason Angol.
In the Watson Shield, hat-tricks from Colin Merritt and Gary Ward helped Wilshamstead Reserves to a 7-4 victory against Renhold Village, but holders Riseley Sports Reserves needed extra time to see off Dunton Reserves 2-1, Dan Gloss scoring the winner.
Marsh Leys had little trouble getting past Sandy A as they coasted to an emphatic 8-1 win, Gieseppe Grazinao netting twice and Tom Wade, Bryan Kelly, Simon Wade, Damon Quigley, Liam Parker and Darren Moore once apiece.
Stewartby Village eased through with a 5-1 win at Kempston Athletic, two own goals plus strikes from Jon Pomroy, Charles Wheelhouse and James Churchman doing the trick to an Athletic reply from Gary Whitbread.
Westoning Recreation Club Reserves had to rely on penalties to beat Meppershall AFC after the sides finished extra-time locked at 1-1.
In Division One, James Pickard, Nick Hardwick and Scott Alleyne scored for Meltis Albion in their 3-1 defeat of Elstow Abbey, while Stevington recorded a 6-1 victory against Caldecote Reserves, James McKay, Clinton Tatham, Shaun Winconek, Lawrence Bentham, Richard Howlett and Scott Hannam all finding the back of the net.
