Bedford School reign supreme in county hockey

Bedford School excelled in the recent Bedfordshire County hockey tournaments. They recorded victories at U18, U16, U14 and U13 levels, with their U11s finishing second by a goal difference of one as they drew 6-6 with the winners.

Across the age groups, 13 games were played with Bedford School winning 11 of them and drawing two.

Master in charge of hockey Alyn Meredith said: “This is a great achievement. There is a real enthusiasm about hockey at the school and this bodes well for the future.”

They will all go on to represent the school and county at the East Regional Tournament in February and March, with the prize being a place in the National Finals.
