How End Fisheries

Despite a freezing cold morning there was a decent turnout at How End Fisheries’ latest Open on Sunday. In flat, calm conditions Dani’s performed and Mark Wilson set off at a blistering pace.

After two hours though his swim died and Phil Stone caught him in the last hour with some carp taken off the sunken island. Third place went to new boy Matt Langley who managed to ounce Mark Wells.

This Saturday sees an open on Yasi’s followed by the start of the How End Winter League on October 21. Anyone interested should call Stone on 07753 743802.

Results: 1, Phil Stone, 49lb 12oz; 2, Mark Wilson, 47lb 13oz; 3, Matt Langley, 35lb 2oz; 4, Mark Wells, 35lb 1oz; 5, Pete Nash, 28lb 3oz.
