Kempston Lake Fishery

After being closed for six weeks due to flooding Kempston Lake Fishery reopened on Friday.

The carp were feeding well with Mick Trannelli catching 17 to 19lb on a 24-hour session.

Junior member Daniel Turner claimed three low doubles to 14lb, Bill Arratt had his best day ever taking nine carp to 16lb and new member Kevin Chadfield caught seven carp to 18lb.

The lake is closed until 5pm on Sunday, June 24, for a visiting club match.
