Woman and her two children missing

Hayley Waite, aged 36, last seen on Thursday

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for help to trace a Bedfordshire woman who left her family home with her two children yesterday morning and has not been seen since.

Hayley Waite, aged 36, from The Boundary in Bedford and her two children, a 9 month old girl and an 8 year old boy, were last seen at 6.30am, Thursday 2nd July.

Police are concerned for Hayley as this behaviour is completely out of character and it would appear she has not made any attempt to contact friends or relatives.

Hayley is described as white with collar length brown hair, 5'2" tall with a stocky build.

It is believed Hayley is travelling in a blue SAAB, registration number RK51 NVN and it is known she has links to the Bedford, Ipswich and Colchester areas.

Investigating Hayley's whereabouts, PS Lesley Noble, said: "Hayley has not gone missing from home before and we would like her to make contact with the police to confirm that she and her children are safe and well.

"I would reassure Hayley that she is not in any trouble and she can speak to officers in complete confidence."

Anyone who has seen Hayley and her children, or anyone who has seen a car matching the description given is urged to contact Bedfordshire Police, on 01234 841212, text a message to 07786 200011, or contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
