A woman was sexually assaulted as she walked along the street with two children.

The victim was touched inappropriately as she walked along Nutwood Close in Bedford at around 6.30pm on Thursday, August 6.

Det Con Tammy Scrivens said: “This was a disturbing and unwarranted incident and we’re urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with us.”

The man is described as black, approximately 5ft 7in, aged in his 20s, with black fuzzy hair. He was believed to be wearing a navy T shirt with burgundy and beige stripes, grey trousers, and socks but no shoes.
