Woman rushed to hospital after attack by cows

A woman was rushed to hospital with head and neck injuries after being attacked by cows in a field.

The ambulance service was called to Green Lane in Clapham just before 11.30am today (Wednesday).

A rapid response car was on the scene within five minutes and the air ambulance was also called out.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “The patient who is a female in her 60s was taken by land ambulance to Bedford Hospital with head and neck injuries, which aren’t believed to be life threatening.”
