Woman motorist taken to hospital after car flipped on its side

A woman had to be cut free from her car this morning (Tuesday) after her vehicle flipped onto its side in Turvey High Street.

Firefighters worked to free the driver before paramedics took the woman, aged in her 50s, to Bedford Hospital with minor upper body injuries.

Emergency services, including the Magpas rapid response BMW, the East of England Ambulance Service, firefighters and police were called at around 11.45am.
