Jewellery, computers and bank cards were stolen in a village burglary.

Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after jewellery, laptop computers, cash and bank cards were stolen during a burglary in Wymington on Thursday, May 8.

It took place sometime between 8am and 1.05pm at a house in Rushden Road, when the burglars entered the back garden before forcing open a kitchen window.

Once inside, they stolen numerous items including gold earrings and bracelets, Dell and Asus laptop computers, a digital camera, a wallet containing bank cards, cash and a car key before fleeing.

Detective Constable Surinder Ram, who is investigating the incident, is keen to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area or may have seen the offenders before or after the raid.
