War story, new shows and a US president visits Bedfringe

As Bedfringe runs into the final few days, there’s still a chance to have a laugh as Lucy Porter and Tom Toal present their new shows at The Ent Shed.

Lucy Porter is one of the most loveable comics in the country and a fringe favourite. She returns to Bedford to preview her 2014 show, Me Time, which you can see on Thursday, July 24 at 8.15pm (doors open 7.30pm).

She has made numerous appearances on the most popular television shows including Have I Got News For You and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and also won Celebrity Mastermind! Tom Toal presents his show Prequel.

More comedy can be enjoyed at The Ent Shed on Wednesday, July 23 with Patrick Monahan, with his new show Adventures in Monahan Land, at 8pm. Tickets are £8.

Theatre continues in Bedfringe with Dalloway on Wednesday, July 23 at The Place, at 7.30pm, an adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s celebrated work about the upper classes in the aftermath of the Great War.

Also next Thursday, July 24, is Bill Clinton Hercules, at The Place, at 9pm, where you can meet the 42nd president as he shoots straight from the hip.

Directed by Guy Masterson, Bill Paisley is Clinton in this work that tells all! Tickets are £8/£5.
