A model from Bedford is asking readers to help her win through to the next round of the Miss England contest
Reema Islam, 19, is among 18 contestants competing in the third Miss England semi final heat for 2016.
The public vote is now well underway and she needs the support of the community before voting lines close in win a place in the semi-final in June.
Reema needs to be in the top three and then a panel of judges, which includes Miss England 2015, will decide who is the most photogenic, and will receive a place in the Miss England semi-final at Kelham Hall in Nottinghamshire.
The ultimate winner of Miss England 2016 will spend her year raising awareness for various charities and will receive a whole host of prizes worth £30,000, including a luxury holiday and a place in Miss World 2016.
In the last three years more than £1million has been raised by Miss England contestants to help disadvantaged children around the UK.
The reigning Miss England is Natasha Hemmings, age 20, an aspiring Opera Singer who competed for Miss World in December 2015 reaching the final 12. Natasha took part in a series of challenging rounds including sports, charity projects and a talent round in the month long competition.
