Getting ready for the weekend's festivities

Bedford's Sikh community will be out in full force and full colour this weekend, celebrating the birthday of Guru Nanak.

The annual procession, which will begin at midday on Saturday, will bring together members of the Sikh community from across the county. It has been organised by a committee including members of all three Bedford gurdwaras.

Content editor Ben Raza and videographer Natalee Hazelwood visited the gurdwaras on Thursday and Friday to see the preparations taking place, so click on the video icon on this page to see the work.
