Two Bedford men were arrested on suspicion of terrorism-related offences during early morning raids on Monday.

The East Counter Terrorism Investigation Unit swooped on two homes in Moor Lane and Victoria Road, Bedford, and two men, aged in their mid-20s were arrested. They were taken to Greyfriars Police Station were they were interviewed and later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Some property was also seized during the raids.
