Two rescued after car collision

Two people were rescued from a two car collision in Henlow on Sunday night.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the collision on the B659 Hitchin Road, Henlow late on January 3.

Fire Control received a call at 11.47pm about the collision near Henlow Camp involving two vehicles. Firefighters from Shefford and Biggleswade attended.

The Rescue Support Unit from Stopsley was also sent to the scene.

Using specialist hydraulic equipment they freed the two people who were passed to the care of paramedics.
