SLIDESHOW: Woodworks! Festival

Visitors carved out a great weekend of entertainment with tree-mendous fun for all

Wood you believe it - anyone who missed out on the fun at the Forest Centre in Marston Vale this weekend must have been bark-ing.

The tree-mendous fun at the Woodworks! wood fair and folk festival featured everything from traditional Punjabi-style drumming from Bobby and his Rhythms Blasters, to birds of prey from The English School of Falconry, to displays by The British Lumberjacks Sports Association.

New for this year was the Woodworks!Carve-Up which featured a spectacular display of chain-saw speed carving culminating in an auction with visitors able to bid for their own, unique sculpture.

Music, a vital element of the annual event, also featured, with a fantastic line-up of acts including some of the UK's hottest new folk groups.
