Professional streets artisits join yougsters at Harrowden Middle School to create a series of murals

Youngsters at Harrowden Middle School daubed their dietary tips on the walls last week, when they created a series of murals as part of healthy eating week.

Professional street artists Neil Kean and Ryan Billing

visited the school in Oak Road, Bedford, and helped 15 pupils realise their own designs.

The week also featured a healthy eating breakfast club, extra sessions of circuit training, boxercise, aerobics, yoga and badminton at lunchtimes, and after-school, food tasting and a prize draw to win sports equipment.

Deputy headteacher Scott McGregor said: "Throughout the curriculum we have been stressing the importance of a healthy lifestyle, as at Harrowden we believe it is essential.

Living a healthy lifestyle allows members of our community to be self-

confident, be active and achieve their potential."
