A public meeting is taking place in Ravensden tonight to discuss plans for a giant wind turbine.

If the application, put in by developers Offgrid Power, goes through the turbine, which would stand nearly four times the height of the Angel Of The North, would be built in front of the Ravensden water tower.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm at Ravensden Village Hall.
