Cancer patients are benefiting from a range of organic skincare beauty products that are set to be launched by former Apprentice finalist Susan Ma in May.

Susan made it to the 2011 final of show, which gives people the chance to work with business guru Lord Sugar.

She missed out on winning, but Lord Sugar liked her business proposal so much he went into partnership with her.

Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care is launching nationally in May and this week it held a pre-launch event in Bedford.

Caron Brooks, who lives in Ampthill, is one of two founding ambassadors in Bedfordshire for the company, and is looking for sellers in the county to get involved.

The firm is looking for betweeen 200 and 300 ambassadors to sell the products in Bedfordshire.

Caron, 53, who suffered with breast cancer in 2009, said: “Susan is really lovely, I’ve met her quite a few times and I think the products are fantastic. They’re all 100 per cent natural and don’t use chemicals.

“I volunteer at Bedford Day Care Hospice and I use the products on women there who are going through radiotherapy and chemotherapy. “They’re really good because they have no alcohol in them, which means they can be used on the patients.

“Their skin gets very sensitive and there are a lot of products they can’t use, so they really appreciate being able to have facials and hand and nail massages.”

As well as becoming ambassadors for the company people can also hold pamper experiences where a group of friends can try out the products.

The launch event that was held at the Kings House Conference Centre in Ampthill Road on Monday, also supported Bedford Day Care Hospice, by running a fundraising raffle for them.

It also gave people a chance to find out more about becoming a local ambassador.

Tropic Pure Plant Skin Care offers a range of organic beauty products, including face scrub, lip balm, and luxury oils,

If you would like to become an ambassador or would to arrange a pamper experience email caron.brooks@btinternet.com or Nicole.eaton@talktalk.net.
