Celebrities put on dancing shoes for Strictly competition

Local celebrities, public figures and business leaders have been putting on their dancing shoes for Strictly Bedford.
The contestants have been putting their best foot forward since last month and learning to waltz and cha cha dance.
Strictly Bedford 2012 is a competition in the style of BBC hit show Strictly Come Dancing, and will feature the likes of principal and chief executive of Bedford College Ian Pryce, Chief Constable of Beds Police Alf Hitchcock and owner of 5th Avenue Hair and Beauty Spa Kerry Cash.
Each celebrity has been paired up with a dance teacher from the Court Ballroom dancing school. and will be raising money for their nominated charity,
Organiser Cheryl Sutton said: “I was a judge at another Strictly event and I thought it would be a great idea to hold it in Bedford. The celebrities have all been working really hard.”

The 12 couples will perform on November 3 and 4 at Bedford School.
