Messy service at St Andrew's Church

The first messy service was enjoyed by youngsters at St Andrew’s Church in Bedford, when paper became a theme - they made ‘listening ears’ and two of the nearly 60 who attended of all ages are pictured. There were Bible stories, songs, parachute games and a pasta meal.

The church is hosting a Wedding Dress Exhibition over Valentines weekend, which will feature a collection of bridal wear with the stories of the brides who wore them. It will open on Saturday, February 13, 2pm to 5pm and Sunday, February 14, 11.30pm to 4pm. Admission is is £3 (children under 16 free) with proceeds to the new church organ fund. A talk entitled Weird and Wonderful Weddings Around the World will be given by Marion Maule on the Sunday at 2.30pm.
