You’ll hear the jingle of bells soon - the most enchanting time of the year begins on Saturday, November 15 at 11am when Santa arrives with his reindeer and elves.
Father Christmas’ annual entrance at Frosts Garden Centre in Willington marks the beginning of Christmas for families, with a truly magical experience for all.
Santa arrives straight from the North Pole ready to open his Grotto and take up residence up until Christmas.
His award-winning Grotto offers an experience like no other and each year it gets bigger and better. Families are invited into a winter wonderland for 45 minutes that will take them on a journey of fairy-tales and fantasy.
Filled with singing, dancing and festive activities, including making reindeer food to leave out on Christmas Eve, elves take each child through one room to the next before they arrive at the most important door of all - Santa’s living room. They will then be invited in where the jolly Big Man sits on his chair by the fire just in time for a story and a chocolate treat whilst mum and dad enjoy a mince pie.
Then, to finish off this dreamlike experience, it’s on to the elves’ workshop where every child’s dream will come true when they get to choose their very own present from row after row of gifts.
An don’t forget there’s fun to be had on the skating rink too.
