Teens robbed for cash and phone
Police in Flitwick are appealing for witnesses following a robbery outside Best Kebabs in Steppingly Road on Monday night (23rd August).
At around midnight, the 18-year-old victim and his friend headed to the kebab shop and saw three men on BMX bikes outside.
They went into the shop to buy food and two of the youths followed them in but then left without ordering anything.
As the victim and his friend left the shop, the three men approached them and one asked if he could use the victim's phone. The victim refused but was then searched before he handed over his Sony Ericsson mobile.
The offender pushed the victim into some nearby bushes and asked for money.
The victim handed over 15 in total before the men made off on their bikes in the direction of Tescos.
The main offender who searched the victim is described as a black male of 18 or 19 years old.
He was approximately 6ft in height with short black hair, wearing a black puffer waist length jacket with a large hood and a brown fur collar.
The other two men are described as white males of around 17 or 18 years old.
They were both approximately 5ft 8ins in height. One was of an average build with short brown hair and was wearing a red and white checked shirt with jeans.
The other was of a skinny build and was wearing a black sweatshirt style hooded top with black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Det Con Paul Arrowsmith, investigating, said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the description of these men; in particular we would like to speak to taxi drivers who were using the nearby taxi rank at the time of the incident."
