Pupils at Bedford Free School are learning creative writing skills from a teacher who is now a published poet.

Sebastian R. Burrows, 28, has seen his book The Weasel and the Catfish in print, go on sale via Amazon, and Kindle.

This is not Sebastian’s first success in publishing - he has previously had his work in print within collections of poetry.

Now head of Year 11 and a geography teacher at Bedford Free School in Cauldwell Street, Sebastian is a graduate of Keele University and Oxford Brooks Teacher Training.

He hails from Tarporley in Cheshire and now lives in Old Stratford on the border of Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes.

Married to Jen, Sebastian is now working on a novel prompted by being a dad to nine-month Freddie.

If anyone would like to hear more about Sebastian’s poetry they can contact him via Bedford Free School.
