Bedford student Niamh Milligan, 17, has taken another big step in her ambition to become a professional dancer.
Earlier this year she was selected as a Youth Dance England choreographer and had her work performed at the Royal Opera House. She is currently a student at The Place in London, home to The London Contemporary Dance School, under the CAT Centre of Advanced Training (CAT) scheme. This is the national intensive dance programme for 11 to 18-year-olds who display exceptional potential and passion for dance.
Against tough competition, she successfully auditioned for the scheme this year and has been attending since September. She is now seeking funding and sponsorship. Although the scheme is part funded we have to also find funds to complete the fees and additional expenses such as extra dance training, travel and equipment. Email her mum Donna at email@example.com if you can help.
