Politics students visited Parliament where they met with Bedford and Kempston MP Richard Fuller.

The MP gave the Year 12 students from Biddenham Upper School a tour of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

He also told them about his office in Parliament - ‘the furthest corner of the furthest building on the top floor’.

The politician explained his role as an MP and the work it involves.

To top the visit off, the students also met MP Keith Vaz, who represents Leicester East and serves as chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee.

During their day out in London, the teenagers also took in the sights of the London Eye and Big Ben and travelled along Whitehall to see the Great Offices of State.
