A food store was evacuated by police after claims there was a bomb hidden inside.
Officers rushed to Tesco Express in Queens Park, Bedford, just after 7.15pm on Sunday (May 24).
The store was evacuated and Ford End Road was closed off before a specially trained explosives dog was used to search the shop.
It was later discovered that the call was a hoax.
Bedfordshire Police has now launched an investigation into the incident, which has been classed as ‘malicious communication’.
