A mix of The Specials and Madness brings some iconic music to Bedford this weekend.

Special Kinda Madness perform songs from both bands and this tribute show can be seen at Esquires on Saturday, March 21, with doors opening at 8pm.

Special Kinda Madness perform an authentic set from each band, combining the phenomenally energetic stage presence of The Specials with the wonderfully iconic tunes of the Madness “Nutty Boys”.

Playing a set from each band, Special Kinda Madness will have everyone hankering after that exciting era of 2-Tone and ska.

With a back catalogue of classic hits between them expect to hear anthems such as Nite Club, Too Much Too Young, Rat Race, Concrete Jungle.

Ghost Town, Pressure Drop, Gangsters and A Message to you Rudi from The Specials, and classic hits such as Baggy Trousers, My Girl, It Must Be Love, House of Fun, Our House, Driving My Car and Wings of a Dove from Madness.

A spokesman for the show said: “The chances of The Specials and Madness on the same bill is pretty unlikely, In truth, it probably will never happen now - but you can get the next best thing with Special Kinda Madness.”

Tickets are on sale priced £10 in advance from www.seetickets.com and in person from Danny’s Bar at Esquires, Planet Boutique in the Arcade, Bedford and Mario’s Hair Design, Kempston.
