Villagers in Carlton will be opening their garden gates with some special visitors arriving!

Look out for a host of scarecrows in the area on Sunday, June 7, when a number of gardens will be open for viewing.

Organised by Churches Together in Harrold and Carlton, this special opening day is in aid of local charities and churches.

Start at Carlton village hall where tickets and details of openings can be found. Admission for the gardens is £4 for adults, children under 12 free.

Teas will be served at the hall, as well as in selected gardens.

The pretty village gardens will be open between 1.30pm and 5.30pm, and promises to be a lovely family afternoon out say organsers. The scarecrows are part of a competition to be judged on the day.
